Screening model: This tool estimates steady-state load, current, generator loading, simplified N-1 resilience and a screening motor-start event. Final retrofit approval should use vessel load analysis, OEM alternator and engine transient data, short-circuit calculations, protection coordination, harmonic studies where applicable, cable voltage-drop checks, class requirements and actual switchboard documentation.
