Ship Recycling Sale Value, Scrap Price, Yard Compliance & Recycle-Now Decision Tool
Compare a recycling sale today with another period of trading. Convert $/LDT bids into net owner proceeds, calculate delivery and transaction deductions, test Hong Kong Convention / EU recycling-route readiness, compare yard offers, and solve the TCE or future scrap price needed to justify keeping the vessel in service.
Vessel & Regulatory Basis
Use a reliable light-displacement figure. LDT is the main commercial multiplier used in ship-recycling bids.
Current Recycling Bid
Presets are negotiation references only. Vessel location, condition, specialist content, bunkers, sanctions, yard capability and delivery basis can move a real offer materially.
Advanced Yard / Cash-Buyer Bid Register
Authorization and EU-list status are yard-specific. Do not infer eligibility from country alone.

Recycling Compliance & Closing Readiness
The Hong Kong Convention entered into force on 26 June 2025. EU-flagged ships subject to the EU Ship Recycling Regulation must use a facility on the European List. Basel / waste-shipment applicability is left as a legal-review gate because it can depend on the actual location and transaction sequence.
Keep Trading vs Recycle Now
TCE is treated as revenue net of voyage expenses. OPEX continues over all calendar days; off-hire reduces earning days.
