Turn the ship's actual gas consumers into an FGSS design envelope. Calculate peak and annual LNG demand, pressure and temperature requirements, BOG contribution, cryogenic pump flow and electrical load, vaporizer and gas-heater duty, N+1 equipment capacity, tank endurance, bunkering time, parasitic energy and the fuel-spread required to recover the FGSS investment.
FGSS Design Basis
The tool uses entered engine / consumer gas demand rather than embedding an OEM fuel-consumption claim. Use engine-maker maximum gas consumption where available. Specific gas consumption is provided only as a fallback calculation path.
