Starting Air Receiver & Compressor Tool Main Engine Starts, Bottle Volume & Recharge Time
Size and screen a marine starting-air system from the engine-start requirement through receiver storage and compressor recovery. Simple mode answers how many starts the installed bottles support, the minimum receiver volume, and recharge time. Advanced adds multiple receivers, connected pneumatic consumers, compressor redundancy, independently driven capacity, one-bottle isolation, low-pressure alarm reserve and live start-by-start pressure and recharge curves.

Current class practice commonly requires at least two starting-air receivers of approximately equal capacity. The total active volume is used for the start-endurance calculation; an automatic one-largest-bottle-out screen is shown separately.
