This lets the calculator represent weather, SHEX, shifting, breakdowns or special clauses without pretending to interpret the charterparty for you. Overlaps use the lowest active counting percentage.

- For an ordinary exception that stops laytime but not demurrage, enter 0% before demurrage and 100% on demurrage.
- If a clause continues to suspend time even on demurrage, enter 0% for both columns.
- For half-time or another agreed partial treatment, enter the applicable percentage.
- The tool does not decide whether weather, Sundays/holidays, shifting, strikes, breakdowns or owner-caused delay count. That decision must come from the governing charterparty and facts.
