Bulk Carrier Cargo Liquefaction, TML & Moisture Margin Tool
Screen whether a solid bulk cargo presented for loading remains below its certified Transportable Moisture Limit, how much moisture headroom exists, whether certificates and sampling remain current, and how rain or hold-by-hold variation can consume that margin. The tool deliberately prevents a dry-looking can test or a calculated average from overriding certified TML, representative moisture testing and the Master’s stop-loading authority.
Cargo & IMSBC Basis
Use the cargo’s actual IMSBC schedule and signed shipper documentation. Presets below are descriptive only and do not assign a legal TML.
Certified TML & Current Moisture
Hold-by-Hold Moisture Register
Any failed hold / parcel controls the overall acceptance signal. The tool does not average a wet hold into compliance with drier holds.

Rain / Water-Ingress Scenario
This is a sensitivity model only. It estimates how additional water could erode the certified moisture margin; it cannot replace re-sampling and laboratory testing after a material change in moisture condition.
