Project Cargo Sea Fastening, Deck Load & Transport Planning Tool

Screen cargo footprint, supporting reactions and directional securing demand, then prepare a multi-piece deck arrangement with traceable hold points and a transport-readiness report. The model does not approve structural strength, stability, voyage accelerations or lashing arrangements.

Fast deck and lateral-securing screen: 12 inputsStart with the cargo footprint and actual bearing area. The acceleration, MSL and securing-angle values must come from a project-specific source. Simple intentionally cannot clear a cargo for sea passage.

Single Cargo Package

Multi-piece engineering workbenchEnter deck dimensions, project accelerations and cost assumptions. Then use the cargo, zone, support, securing, sequence and readiness registers below the results. A passing numerical ratio is not an approved sea-fastening design.
Safety boundary: All acceleration components, deck strengths, support ratings, MSLs and angles are entered assumptions. These screening formulas are not the IMO CSS Code Annex 13 procedure, a 3D seakeeping analysis, a class-approved deck-strength assessment or a marine warranty approval. No automatic voyage go-ahead is issued.

Deck Zones & Allowable Strength

Define positions in metres from the aft-port datum. Deck zone UDL is not a substitute for grillage and point-load approval.

Cargo Pieces & Placement

Position each item within its selected deck zone. X and Y are lower-left corners of each footprint, not the center of gravity.

Grillage / Supporting Points

Enter fractional reaction shares adding to 100% per active cargo. Support limit is checked against both this row and the zone limit. Eccentricity, grillage bending and local plating are not analyzed.

Directional Lashings & Sea Fastening

Separate +X, −X, +Y, −Y groups. Nominal model resistance = count × entered MSL × cos(vertical angle) × lead-alignment factor. This omits moment distribution, pre-tension, weld/foundation verification and other Annex 13 requirements.

Load-out, Fastening & Departure Sequence

Planning dates are elapsed days from mobilization; this chart does not resolve crane lift radius, deck strength during load-out or permit interfaces.

Documentation, Survey & Operational Holds

Critical unverified checks remain hold points independently of calculated utilization.
