Cruise Embarkation, Terminal Security, Gangway Queue & Passenger Processing Tool

Convert scheduled passenger arrivals into a practical terminal processing plan. Model check-in, security, gangway boarding and baggage handling as separate constraints, then compare staffing and arrival-wave alternatives before the final boarding deadline.

5-minute passenger-flow model Check-in → screening → gangway Secure holding-area pressure Baggage readiness Departure scenarios
Rapid embarkation screen: 12 inputsEnter guests, arrival concentration, check-in/security/gangway productivity and baggage handling. The model does not bypass security screening or certify a terminal's operating limits.
Terminal passenger-flow workbenchAdvanced uses timed arrival waves, added staffing shifts, disruptions, baggage batches and critical readiness checks in five editable registers below. All times are relative to the start of terminal arrivals.
Operational boundary: Passenger screening, identification, secure waiting areas and gangway access must follow the approved ship/port security arrangements. These throughput calculations do not establish statutory or facility compliance, change security screening requirements, waive an individual’s travel-document checks, or authorize boarding. Carrier-specific final boarding deadlines must be independently entered.

Passenger Arrival & Boarding-Group Register

Passenger arrivals are distributed across each entered time window, in whole passengers. Group labels are for local dispatch review only. Every enabled group must fit within the modeled horizon.

Staffing, Lanes & Equipment Shift Register

Add or remove temporary stations during a time window. Added capacity is not treated as an exemption from the approved terminal security program. Negative adjustments cannot make processing capacity negative.

Service Interruptions & Reduced-Throughput Windows

Use a percentage of normal processing throughput during the entered interval. A 0% stage factor means no processing at that stage; 100% means no restriction. Overlapping interruptions multiply capacity factors.

Baggage Arrival / Processing Register

Independent checked-baggage demand. When at least one enabled baggage batch exists, these rows override the percentage-based baggage forecast. Bag processing does not imply customs, security or safe-loading completion.

Port, Security & Vessel Readiness Checks

Critical unverified checks remain operational holds even when modeled passenger capacity is sufficient. Self-entered “Verified” status must be backed by evidence outside this tool.
