Offshore Support Vessel Charter Bid, Utilization & Campaign Profitability Tool

Compare charter offers as an owner or operator. Separate working hire, standby and off-hire from mobilisation, crew, fuel, incremental project costs and vessel availability. Test which campaign actually earns the best risk-adjusted contribution.

Quick charter screen · 12 inputsOwner/operator view. Enter the economic days, daily costs and fixed charges. The screening reserve is 5% of direct expenses; no price, hire status or fuel allocation is independently verified.
Fleet tender comparisonSet common project assumptions, then edit vessel availability, charter offers, sequential campaign phases, incremental charges and contractual checks in the five registers below. Each offer is an alternative fixture, not a simultaneous fleet allocation.
Commercial boundary: Modelled hire and off-hire treatment, standby pay, charterer bunker responsibility, delivery/redelivery, liability allocation and termination remain subject to the actual contract. Costs are owner-side campaign estimates, not market rate assessments, suitability approvals or a fixture commitment. Technical and DP class readiness require independent verification.

1 · Fleet Vessel & Availability Register

Daily operating cost excludes separately entered crew cost. Fuel consumption is in tonnes/day; availability is indexed to Day 0, the bid-assessment date. One offer may reference one vessel row.

2 · Charter Offer & Commercial Terms

Vessel row is a 1-based reference to the fleet register. Charterer fuel responsibility is captured by reducing the owner-borne fuel share. Mob/demob fees are revenue; mob/demob project expenses are separate owner costs.

3 · Campaign Phase & Utilization Schedule

Phases are sequential for all bids. Work earns working hire; standby earns standby hire; off-hire earns the separately entered off-hire rate (normally zero). Extra downside downtime extends the campaign before demobilisation.

4 · Incremental Project Cost & Recovery Register

Only add costs not already in vessel daily OPEX, crew, fuel or offer mobilisation expenses. Recovery percentage represents an entered reimbursement assumption, not automatic contractual entitlement. Bid 0 applies to every option.

5 · Charter Award Readiness & Technical Holds

Critical pending checks prevent an offer from being marked award-ready even when modeled economics are attractive. These fields do not replace a signed charter party, DP capability review or certification assessment.
