Contract of Affreightment, Cargo Nomination, Fleet Allocation & Fulfilment Risk Tool

Match cargo nominations to verified vessels and port loading windows, quantify uncovered COA tonnes, expose laycan conflicts and compare alternative fleet deployment plans against the contract's commercial margin.

COA quantity & toleranceCargo allocation GanttLaycan and loading windowsPort berth contentionFreight & voyage contribution
Fast COA fulfilment screen · 12 inputsCompare the remaining minimum cargo target with plausible lift capacity before the entered deadline. Every commercial option and permitted tolerance must be verified against the signed COA; no contractual release is presumed.
Fleet allocation and nomination schedulerSet the contract envelope here, then edit cargo nominations, nominated vessels, loading-port capacity, stoppages, financial provisions and contractual readiness in six registers below. Days are relative to your assessment start.
Contract boundary: COA quantity flexibility, vessel nomination obligations, acceptance, substitutions, laycan, delivery obligations, demurrage, deadfreight, force majeure and damages depend on the executed contract and voyage charter terms. This tool evaluates user-entered scenarios, not legal fulfilment, liability or sanctions clearance.

Cargo Nomination & Shipment Register

Each row is one indivisible cargo parcel. Assign a loading port, cargo category and laycan. The model requires loading to finish within the laycan; it does not infer an extension. Delivery due is a separate scenario indicator. Vessel 0 means automatic selection.

Fleet Capacity & Vessel Availability Register

Use the actual economic lift capacity, not DWT. An unverified vessel is excluded from base scheduling. The post-voyage return allowance represents time until the next loading opportunity.

Loading Port Windows & Berth Capacity

Port keys P1/P2/P3. Each port may have one active loading window, with user-entered berths and tonnes per berth-day. For a multi-window physical port, divide nominations into separate modeling ports or confirm the scenario with a port scheduler.

Port Closure & Loading Interruption Register

Closed days are inclusive start / exclusive end. Loading blocks must be uninterrupted. A vessel can wait but cannot move cargo during a closed or unentered window.

Cost, Subcontract & Claim Scenario Adjustments

Use only charges not already included in the vessel day rate or nomination voyage cost. These estimates are included in contribution; no entry is automatically recoverable under the charterparty.

Contract, Counterparty & Operational Readiness

Critical unverified entries create a commercial release hold even where the model allocates all cargo. Status fields are user declarations, not evidence of an approved nomination or clean sanctions screening.
